Since 2020, Nicola Limodio, Sean Higgins and myself are launching the WEFIDEV series for early-career researchers wishing to present research in finance and development—including corporate finance, banking, household finance, microfinance, insurance and green finance—focusing mainly on low and middle income countries (or historical work from high-income countries). We are hoping that early stage work will be presented and will discount more mature papers when selecting presentations. We envision two types of presentations: 30 minutes for earlier stage work where no draft is available or 60 minutes for (still relatively early stage) work with a draft available.
